Types of Banners

Here is some basic information about the 3 types of Light Pole Banners we produce. With these custom products there may be some considerations and options not outlined here. Use this as a guideline, and as always, feel free to reach out to us directly anytime with any questions you might have.

Screen-Printing on Canvas

Screen-printed Canvas Pole Banners

  • Traditional, classic looking banners. A favorite of schools and downtown districts.
  • Heat set, UV resistant, spot colors imprinted on solution dyed marine grade canvas.
  • Long term service life. 5 Years.*
  • Best for same design (or a few designs) across all banners in an order.
  • Higher volume runs will dramatically lower cost per unit.
Digital Printing On Canvas

Digitally Printed Canvas Pole Banners

  • Medium term service life. 3 Years.*
  • Excellent choice when vinyl banners aren’t an option.
  • Good for multiple designs across all banners in an order.
  • Unlimited color imprints including photographic output.
  • Cost effective for small volume runs.

Digitally Printed Vinyl Pole Banners

  • Most cost effective light pole banner option.
  • Printed on 18 oz. 1000 x 1000 denier scrim blockout vinyl. (Most durable and stable vinyl in the industry.)
  • Shorter term service life. 2 Years.*
  • Good for multiple designs across all banners in an order.
  • Unlimited color imprints including photographic output.
  • Cost effective for small volume runs.
Screen-Printing on Canvas & Digital On Vinyl

Service Life: It’s difficult to predict exact durability and longevity of any banner type as there are many variables that affect this benchmark, including weather conditions, banner hardware, and installation integrity. In our experience, our banners will perform as represented, when they are professionally installed, on a premium grade, high quality banner bracket system, utilizing the recommended, proper installation technique for that banner.

“Phenomenal to work with!”

Of this whole process from gathering the pictures & information, to getting approval from our electric company to use their poles, to lining up lift trucks & volunteers to hang the banners which took 3 weeks to hang all 219 banners, the easiest part was working with Material Promotions. The banners are of excellent quality and the resolution turned out better than we ever expected. Our whole community is beaming with pride over the banners.
